Marble Designs Jewelry is completely handcrafted and designed by myself, owner/designer Sue Marble. I founded Marble Designs in 1998. After being a prolific fashion designer I was ready to take on a different form of wearable art. I wanted to create pieces that were sophisticated and chic yet still affordable and couldn't be found in stores. People took notice and began commissioning me for weddings, special occasions and their everyday pieces. Now my jewelry caters to women of all ages and styles. With just a few details about a client I can create jewelry for them that enhances their own personal style, is exclusive to them and gives them a collector's piece they can pass down through generations.
Every piece in my collection is a one of a kind or a limited edition piece. I use only the finest materials in each handmade piece including: Swarovski crystals (the finest crystals in the world); delicate fresh water pearls; beautiful semi-precious stones such as turquoise and onyx and the most amazing pieces using recycled sea glass. I also use the highest quality Czechoslovakian glass, precious metals of sterling silver, 14kt gold-fill, and gold and silver-plated metals. Wire-wrapping techniques are utilized with both the precious and plated metals.
Marble Design’s pieces range from simple, contemporary styles to bold, elaborate beaded pieces… demonstrating exquisite craftsmanship and attention to balance and detail.
